Journal of Applied Science & Engineering Materials (JASEM) is an international scholarly journal established to bring together the theoretical foundations of fundamental sciences, the problem-solving orientation of engineering, and the innovation-driven perspective of applied and materials sciences. 

JASEM provides a multidisciplinary platform for the communication of original scientific knowledge at the intersection of science, engineering, materials, computation, and technology. The journal seeks to support research that not only advances theoretical understanding but also contributes to the development of practical methods, materials, models, processes, systems, and technological solutions. 

The journal particularly values studies that establish meaningful connections between scientific principles and real-world engineering challenges. It encourages collaboration across disciplines and promotes the exchange of knowledge among researchers, engineers, materials scientists, technology developers, and professionals working in research-intensive industries. 

JASEM aims to contribute to scientific and technological progress by supporting research associated with:

• engineering and applied scientific innovation; 
• the development and improvement of advanced materials; 
• computational and data-driven approaches to scientific and engineering problems; 
• sustainable technologies, processes, and production systems; 
• interdisciplinary cooperation between fundamental and applied fields;

Through its international and interdisciplinary orientation, JASEM seeks to become a recognised platform for research that contributes to sustainable development, advanced technology production, innovative materials design, and the responsible application of emerging scientific methods. 

The journal welcomes contributions from researchers and professionals whose work strengthens the relationship between scientific discovery, engineering application, materials innovation, and technological development.

All submissions first undergo a preliminary editorial screening for technical, formal, and ethical compliance. At this stage, the authenticity and verifiability of the references cited in the manuscript may also be checked. The editor evaluates manuscripts that successfully pass the preliminary screening in terms of scope, relevance, and adherence to the journal’s publication principles. Submissions deemed suitable are then sent to at least two independent reviewers through a double-blind peer review process.

JASEM is committed to transparency, academic integrity, and ethical publishing principles throughout all stages of the editorial, review, and publication process. The journal conducts its publication procedures in accordance with national and international ethical standards. It takes into account the principles and guidelines of COPE, DOAJ, and the Interuniversity Council of Türkiye (ÜAK).

JASEM does not charge any submission, review, or publication fees. All stages of the submission, evaluation, and publication process are conducted free of charge for authors.
